Function, use and utility are implied in my sculpture because of the allusion to tool, prop, prosthetic, weapon, set or sexual device. A poetic gesture, expressive stance, or psychological nuance is posited, abstracted and articulated through these static, mute props.

The viewer is challenged to identify with and implicate themselves in the narrative, action or rite lying dormant in the materials and design.

I fabricate all of the components and integrate a diverse range of materials in their construction: steel, wood, leather, rubber, fabric and mirror. They range in scale from intimate to heroic.
